paints a vivid picture of Goethe‘s personal and family life, the exhibition
offers a deep insight into the wide-ranging achievements of the esteemed
poet, scientist and statesman. 

Focusing on Goethe, it explores central issues around the turn of the 19th
century that still have relevance today. It centres on authentic exhibits from
Goethe‘s collections on art and science as well as everyday objects and other
pieces from Goethe‘s personal estate.
