Museum of the Earliest and Ancient History of Thuringia
A complex picture is drawn for the period of 400.000 years of Thuringian history, not only the material culture but also the natural environment, technology and housing construction, intellectual culture, the arts and the people are in the focus of the exhibition. A great number of original finds from the most important archaeological excavations, drawings, models and life-size reconstructions communicate a lively image of the oldest history of Thuringia.
