After the city tour "Music History in Weimar" we visit the Liszt House. For many visitors, the name Weimar is first associated with Goethe and Schiller. But Weimar has a distinguished musical history, beginning with Johann Sebastian Bach's productive years and continuing through Franz Liszt, Richard Wagner, Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Richard Strauss. There are stories of world premieres, grand plans and minor scandals. The tour ends at the Liszt House, which can be visited immediately after the introduction or after a break.
