Tourist Information Weimar
The Tourist Information Weimar is open from Mon - Sat 9.30 am - 5 pm, Sun 9.30 am - 2 pm. The same access rules apply as for shops. Guided city tours can be booked with a household, a non-household person and children under 14.
All museums, memorials and galleries in Weimar have reopened.

Cultural events indoors as well as outdoors are allowed again. No test is required for outdoor events. Cultural events indoors require a current rapid test (max. 24 h), negative PCR test (max. 48 h), proof of complete vaccination or proof of survived infection as well as contact person tracing.
The Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar shows productions online and will perform outdoors on the e-Werk grounds from 18 June to 22 August 2021.

Hotels and guesthouses have reopened for tourist overnight stays. Holiday flats and holiday homes can be rented out again. On arrival, only contact tracing is required.
Restaurants, cafés and pubs can open outdoor areas and indoor spaces. Indoors, only contact tracing is required.

Rapid testing centres
With the help of various supporters, the city of Weimar has set up nine Corona rapid test centres. There, tests are possible without pre-registration (with one exception).
