Parks and gardens: a walk in Weimar

Many parks and gardens with historical significance contribute to the charming aura of Weimar very much. Many of them are part of the Federal Garden Show in Erfurt (BUGA) in 2021. One of the most famous is the Park on the River Ilm with Goethe's garden house. Somewhat hidden from view, however, are the Biedermeier garden at Kirms-Krackow-Haus or the garden at the home of Johann Gottfried Herder, philosopher, theologian and contemporary of Goethe.
