A national place of remembrance

The Weimar Republic has its own house. The former Set house on Theaterplatz tells the exciting and contradictory history of the period from 1919 to 1933.

The permanent exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Weimar uses numerous original contemporary objects, films, posters and documents to illustrate the political struggle for the future of Germany at that time.

Exploring the Weimar Republic
