"8. März ist jeden tag!" - Vortrag im METAROOM: Riots Not Diets - Einführung zum System Fettfeindlichkeit mit Luise Demirden

In diesem Vortrag wollen wir zusammen rausfinden, was Fettfeindlichkeit eigentlich ist und wieso sie uns alle betrifft. Was für Effekte hat Fettfeindlichkeit, wen betrifft sie und was kann man dagegen tun? Dafür gucken wir uns historische Zusammenhänge, analysieren wie Fettfeindlichkeit heute agiert und was wir alle gewinnen, wenn wir uns dagegen wehren.

Der Vortrag findet in deutscher Lautsprache ohne Gebärdensprachdolmetschung statt. Außerdem sichten wir Video- und Bildmaterial. Wenn du eine Verschriftlichung der Inhalte oder eine Video- und Bildbeschreibung benötigst, melde dich einfach kurz vor dem Vortrag bei Luise oder dem Orga-Team.

In this lecture, we will look at what fatphobia is and why it affects us all. What impact does fatphobia have? Who is affected by it? And what can be done about it? To answer these questions, we will examine historical contexts, see how fatphobia works today and explore the benefits of fighting back against it.

Please note that the lecture will be delivered in spoken German and will not be translated into sign language. We will also view video and image material.
